Any truth in the Chermiti interest?

From past reports from Turkey, me personally, I'd take it with a pinch of salt.

Reid, it seems like there is truth to it mate.
And £25m with EUR5m in add-ins, it is impossible to say no.

@reidpit interest from who
06 Aug 2026 16:56:20
Besiktas I think.

Why, StevieGnew, would it be impossible to say no? Are we in financial trouble? Because if not, why would we sell our first choice striker and, imo, the best young striker we have had in recent times, for a fraction of what he will be worth if he gets 30 goals and wins us the league? So many fans on here think profit on a player is better than a trophy. I'd rather keep him and try and become champions.

Hopefully we can sell him, and even better sell Fernandes cause he's like bambi on ice. 🫣

Glasgow ranger go oner, cause you would break Scottish transfer record history and we wouldn't get a higher bid for him in the figure, so risking injury or loss of form we could make another Morelos, Kent, Aribo, Kamara, Barasic mistake if we don't take it.
Are u seriously saying u would say no to £30m for Chermiti?
06 Aug 2026 18:05:07
I'd take the money and run. No guarantees he does any better than last year. He's replaceable. The talent that Igamane had, robustness, strength, physicality, and, more importantly, an eye for goal, was much more suited to Scottish football and difficult to replace. Igamane ran defences ragged every week. Chermiti doesn't do that.

Sell him.
06 Aug 2026 18:08:18
If that's the money quoted and we can get the Algerian winger and a decent striker I'd be all over it.
