Just seen that diawarra fee agreed and terms are not a stumbling block but ac Milan are trying to get him also and C. Palace are sniffing too
Dahl should be agreed soon in time for Europa league game also Cerny not coming rumour is he is going to an unnamed German club.

Hopefully we can get that completed as he looks like a solid defender from what I have seen when looking him up.
21 Jul 2026 20:14:30
ScotGer, I hope you're right about Dahl and wrong about Cerny.
imo, they are the 2 names we need to complete team middle to front then it's just getting a decent RB cover and another good CH.
I'd use the boy Scally as back up LB, he looks like a left sided young Alan Hutton could easily do a job as back up or sign Greg Taylor. 😳
21 Jul 2026 20:19:01
Sure, AC Milan are wanting to put him in youth side I read?
21 Jul 2026 20:25:37
You would use a 16 year old as back up or sign an ex Celtic dud.Thank goodness you're not in charge.
21 Jul 2026 20:27:41
Peterpan, you'd be correct, we're offering first team football, AC Milan are offering the U23 squad to build himself up to the first team.

That Celtic dud has more winners' medals than most Rangers legends, wslgers.
One of the criticisms that was constantly thrown at James Tavernier was a lack of silverware. Well, Greg Taylor has that in spades.
Something that was also said of Rangers prior to Gerrard winning the title is that we had no proven winners.
Nobody who had got across the line. James Tavernier was the last title winner we had. Greg Taylor has won everything in Scotland and has that winners' mentality.
People said they wanted Scottish players who were proven in our league and knew the demands of the Old Firm. Isn't Greg Taylor all of that?
21 Jul 2026 22:30:35
Greg Taylor is certainly not a dud, he's won loads with them. Sure, I read he's a Gers fan too, but I could be wrong. If he came, I think he would be a good addition to the squad, to be honest.
22 Jul 2026 00:08:25
Greg Taylor's family are massive Gers fans, as was he before he signed for the other mob.
22 Jul 2026 00:09:54
RohlWithCheese, I'd rather rubbish in my hands and clap than accept Taylor at Rangers.
22 Jul 2026 07:40:52
Greg Taylor was also at Rangers at youth level before we released him for not being big enough, so I would take him back, even know he played for Celtic, as he would have something to prove.
22 Jul 2026 08:40:11
The rational on here is crazy at times.
People said we had to go for Scottish, proven winners, guys who knew the expectations and the club. Greg Taylor ticks all those boxes, but many still don't want him simply because he played for Celtic.
So, if you're a Rangers fan that has previously played for Celtic, then you aren't welcome. But, if you support Celtic like Scott McKenna, but haven't yet played for Celtic, you're more than welcome at Ibrox.
Is that how it works?

Taylor would be a fantastic signing, probably better than Penrice.
