Not been on much recently as I've been on holiday, and really trying to stay away from phone and enjoy family time
so I thought I'd give an update on some of the rumours I've been banging on about and being sent to my phone from some friends who hear golden nuggets of information
I'm still hearing largely the same names I've been posting since May, with the exception of Dan Neil, who I first mentioned back in January 2026 (possibly even December 2025 when I first heard it!). Can't remember that far back now!

James Penrice – apparently still active.
Casper Widell – apparently still active, and I've heard a bid has been submitted.
Hampus Skoglund – apparently still active. Talks have been ongoing, but his club aren't keen to sell as he's on a long-term contract.
Elliot Watt apparently we were interested, but Derek McInnes wasn't keen and put a stop to it. For just over £1 million we'd have had him. I think we missed a trick there, but hey ho. From what I'm hearing, that's when the focus shifted to Vanja Dragojević.
Elijah Just, from Motherwell live target - but now looking less likely and he may now pop up across in the east 🥲
Apparently another CB is being brought in, no names given or possibly the person hasn't heard names just another CB is being actively targeted and 2 have been narrowed down and we will see what one gets over the line
The following weren't my rumours:
Lewis Ferguson - not my rumour
Jens Hjertø-Dahl –not my rumour, although I did mention a few weeks ago in reply to another poster that I'd heard his club wanted around £8.5 million, and if Rangers paid it the deal could be done.
Vanja Dragojević – not my rumour either, although he reportedly became the next target after Watt was ruled out. Watt has now signed for a Turkish club, so that one's irrelevant now anyway.
I also heard at one point that Rangers were interested in Luca Stephenson, and I'm sure I posted that on here. He's since signed a permanent deal with Bolton back in June, so whether there was ever anything in it, we'll probably never know. Not that it matters now.

Heard a few weeks ago they should all have been on the move by now
Whether the information is correct or not I'm still waiting to see
But from what I heard all should be away by now so who knows 🤷♂️
Just passing on what I've heard over the last few months and weeks We'll soon find out how much of it comes to fruition I've put names up no riddles from me unfortunately what i hear is what I post! 😊
Anyway what ever happens, looking forward to hearing who we get over the line.

The stingo I'm hearing, Motherwell did not want to sell to us, and we had higher offers knocked back.
Don't know what we've done to annoy Motherwell that they wouldn't accept higher offer.

My info was we went as high as 1.7, although I don't know what the structure of that offer was, maybe not all upfront.

Watt would have missed the first 5 games of the season, so just as well we missed out on him. However, he will likely be back in January or the summer once he discovers that playing for Turkish clubs ain't all that it appears when you sign.

Think they are offering him crazy money as he did see his future back south.
It's a big turn around in plans. Will try see what source says about it next week.
