John, Ibrox4Me, EHL, have any of you guys heard there's a good few clubs chasing the signature of our superb young winger Findlay Curtis? ?
I'm told numerous clubs want to sign him. ☹️ We need to move very quickly and get young Curtis tied down to a long-term contract, before we lose him. ?

It would be a good idea to extend his contract, but he is already under contract, so we don't need to worry about some other club taking him away.

I did raise this topic before. But Angus said Curtis wouldn't be sold and therefore the entire discussion was a "moot point". Maybe he has information we aren't privy to.

There's a lot of interest in him, which is a huge positive.
I think Rohl deserves a great deal of credit for how he's handled Curtis and a number of other youngsters.

I know you had an issue re your own business and DR not availing of your services, but fair play, you are always balanced.
He does indeed appear to have handled young Curtis well.

Rohl, I have no inside knowledge. Just think that if we wanted to sell him we would have rather than send him on loan. He was played by Rohl fairly regularly before he went on loan as well. Just gut feel more than anything.
Fact we are looking to sign him on a new contract means my gut feel might have been right. However, can't remember the whole thread you mention (old age and me not even listening to myself. ?).

I asked how much Curtis would be worth in the open transfer market given his rise - That's all. Angus said it was irrelevant as Curtis would not be sold under any circumstances. Therefore, the entire debate was a "moot point".
Turns out, it was not a "moot point". Angus was just trying to shut down debates based on his "gut feel".

Rohl, but he isn't being sold. Clubs being interested and clubs buying him are too totally different things. I gave my opinion, others gave their values. I love, though, that you think I have the power and authority to shut down any debate on this forum. And here was me tinking only the moderators have the ability to do that.
As I say, can't even remember the thread. It seems some people store these to make petty points back when they get the opportunity. It's a rumour site, let's call my opinion a rumour and therefore similar to those should I get hassle for having an opinion.
