Was talking to a friend from down south with connections to agencies both scouting and talent management as well as a few clubs. He has heard that we have firm interest in 2 Leicester players and could be looking to take advantage of their relegation getting cheaper deals.
He hasn't given me any names and I'm not familiar with Leicester outside a quick look on fifa lol.

Isn't Aribo at Leicester on loan?
14 May 2026 21:08:02
Aribo & Souttar I bet. ?
14 May 2026 21:17:56
Daka is out of contact.
14 May 2026 21:22:11
Actually got a few OOC, Winks, rb Pereira, young cb Richards, and others.
14 May 2026 21:38:52
One is Harry Souttar.
14 May 2026 22:01:26
Souttar has another couple of years, Albertz.
14 May 2026 22:15:51
Sorry, do you mean one of the two is Souttar, Albertz?
14 May 2026 22:27:54
More Championship players and this time from a relegated team. No wonder we are a mess.

Fullback James Justin was rumoured to be one.
{Ed001's Note - he is at Leeds.}
15 May 2026 06:11:11
The other Souttar is even more injury prone than John. He has missed 99% of this season with an Achilles injury; we should avoid him at all costs. He has missed large parts of several seasons through injury.

Wslger, I totally agree. Madness, we keep repeating the same behaviours and expect it to change.
15 May 2026 06:16:28
Rookie managers, young players, nice people instead of battlers.
15 May 2026 08:20:39
Bellshilllad, good info - it's pretty common for clubs to take a look at relegated clubs - especially those in Leicester's circumstances.
15 May 2026 08:21:38
Maybe Ed01 could answer this.
I was told that Liverpool have a history of targeting players who are the best at the club but have been relegated.
Maybe not every year but have been known.
{Ed001's Note - not really, people just think that because they signed Robertson from Hull. It is not a thing at all. They target players who suit their needs, like most clubs do, wherever they can find them for the right price.}
15 May 2026 10:47:28
It is normal practise, agreed EHL. However, they have now gone down again. Think it should be a wide berth.
15 May 2026 11:09:27
I did, yes. One is Harry Souttar. We've tried to sign him before and missed out. His release clause is significantly lower than market value - depending on his WC campaign, I believe this one has legs. Desperate to come.
15 May 2026 11:17:52
Wonder if Vestergard will be mentioned, older head at the back, will probably have crossed paths with Rohl over the years.
15 May 2026 13:33:59
Albertz, I misread your post and thought it said he only has one leg, which surprised me because I knew he had been injured, but didn't think it was that bad.
CR, Vestergaard is a terrible player, milk turns quicker, we definitely don't want him.

Albert also home grown as came through youth at Dundee United.
