Daily Record saying Rohl has had assurances from Cavenagh that his job is safe. If we don't win our last two games doubt fans will be happy with that decision.
12 May 2026 15:52:01
But some fans are wanting youth players played in the last couple of games, Bear, which I'm all for by the way.

It is what it is, should he move on? Maybe, but looking at the bigger picture for a sec, there is no way you can fix last summer's 'recruitment' issues in just one window.
Also, got to keep in mind most of this squad won't be here next season & will most likely have 'checked out' mentally, hence the dramatic downturn in performance after the split.
12 May 2026 16:23:35
When that mob starts singing our gaffer's name, it's game over, I'm afraid.
12 May 2026 16:31:46
What youth players should we play?
12 May 2026 16:36:52
Lawson, Glasgow, John, worthless games.
12 May 2026 16:37:15
Game over because rivals took the mickey, c'mon man. Sticks n stones, get over it and stop worrying what others think of us.
12 May 2026 16:38:53
Maybe Hutton.
12 May 2026 16:53:32
Scally, Glasgow, Owen, Lawson, and McCallion should all be in the squad.
I know there was an age cap on the cup, but unsure if the league.
Would like Rankin as well.

If he stays then so be it, but who he replaces, the parting squad members, is a bigger worry right now. If we go down the route of making another jigsaw of players from every corner of Europe and beyond, and they arrive without good track records, then we are in serious trouble for another season at least. Most of our squad aren't playing for the jersey as it is, and the closer we've got to the end of the season, they've backed out of running back and tackling.
Says a lot about some of these players when young Moore is working harder than most of his peers and actually behaves like he gives a rubbish. The names being touted as transfer targets don't fill me with much confidence, and if they are good enough then fair enough, but we need to do some of our shopping closer to home for the sake of our identity.

Game over because Celtic supporters sang Danny Rohl's name because they had beaten us. Incredible. ??
12 May 2026 17:28:32
My star. The youth team can win the league this week.
Won 5-1 against Dundee United last night. Play St Mirren Friday night. Lawson and Glasgow played last night and will play Friday night.
Think Hutton u refer to is 15, the other one playing playoffs with Hamilton this week.
Watp, yes a cap of 16, think they all meet it. See my reply to my star re all players you name.
12 May 2026 17:30:41
Think we've all seen this movie before. Expecting the inevitable sacking in October.
12 May 2026 17:48:34
Cheers John, I never even took that into consideration, mate.
Wouldn't be playing any loans though.
12 May 2026 17:55:14
I hope we and what happens if we get pumped in those games and the youth players don't recover?
No, not for me.
12 May 2026 18:01:48
Think it would probably be more damaging to the kids to be thrown in now in this situation.
12 May 2026 18:26:53
Kaiser, what fans need to remember, a few of these kids are 15 at Christmas so just turned 16
Imagine a Johnston tackle on them, could finish them. Their baddies bones need to develop.
12 May 2026 19:54:41
So we won't have any youth player playing for the last 2 games?
12 May 2026 20:49:47
Burt, these 16 year olds' priority is Friday night, one or two could make bench Saturday and get two minutes.
13 May 2026 02:40:32
They can get just the same nonsense tackles in their level too, holding them back for these reasons are daft.
That kinda attitude is why our youth never get a run or make the step up successfully. We've done the softly softly approach too often.
