Heard Rangers have requested two tickets for their chief scout to watch Hearts B v Cowdenbeath on Saturday. Hearts B centre half the focus I believe.

A cracking top! Love the colour of blue they used with a real shine to it.

Is that the lad who's 17? Linked with a few top English clubs, can't mind his name.

I'm honestly almost at the point of not seeing the point in going for B team players until something is done about the structure up here. They may be good, but let them play and pick them up when they're more ready, like Graham could be.

Multi year development loans is the solution short term imo.

Kaiser, if we don't, our euro squad is reduced to 17.

We are watching centre back Alfie Osborne, however, it'll take a minor miracle for us to sign him as Brighton are firm favourites for his signature.
Slightly younger than Alfie is Peter Kellock, who has already rejected a move to Man U, but is expected to move down south in the summer.
Stevie, I assume you are talking about McMeekin, who has already signed for Man City.

Ehl, yes mate, that's the one. ?? Don't know a lot about him other than he's very highly rated and started as a mf.
17 Apr 2026 13:08:55
Alfie Osbourne and m saying is the one I meant mate.
17 Apr 2026 14:00:39
Ehl, Hearts have a few cracking academy players, the lad McMeekin can go all the way.
Seen him many times.

John, the Hearts youth pathway has really flourished due to the collaboration between the club and Scottish Rugby.
The facilities at Scotland's Sports Performance Centre (Oriam), not just in terms of equipment but mainly in terms of expertise (coaching, nutrition, and athletic performance), are incredible.
We (sorry, have to say We, in this context) have been working hard on developing a new player development pathway called 'The Hearts Way' that leans heavily on learning from Scottish Rugby - that I believe will make Hearts the standout youth system in the country.
If it's not something you're familiar with, I'd recommend reading up on it as it's pretty impressive.

A close friend's grandson is in the academy at Hearts. Although likely to head south.
