Not losing the plot after a decent point away at one of the hardest places in the league, when 80% of the team had an off day. We would have lost that game 3-1 last season instead of drawing 2-2. Some pathetic performances but most of these have credit in the bank this season.

But I do believe it's now time to give Godfrey a chance at CB, Manny is just not doing it. To many mistakes and a lacklustre attitude. He could have cost us a lot more this season than he has already. If I am Godfrey I am banging at the managers door asking why I'm not getting a chance.

Agree wishy he was honking last night and has been a scare for weeks, defo needs taken out for our benefit and probably his, i would also like to see the boy from villa get some minutes at rb.

there was loads off it last night and i think as was said by some another midfielder was needed however r. e Fernandez his casualness and messing about is so frustrating.

not sure anyone has credit in the bank, we haven't performed great. we are out of Europe, we are not yet winning the league so where do they get the credit from. we were lucky to come away with a point to be fair, after we scored instead of pushing on we went backwards.

half of that was because Hearts played better, but no one really got pass marks apart from Maka.

You don't think a ten game unbeaten run beating Celtic twice and chance of winning the first cup has no credit in the bank for a brand new team and new manager?
Dunno what you were expecting gees but you ain't supporting Real Madrid, time to be realistic about where we are as a club right now.

Mental Wishy, it was a poor performance, but I'm very happy leaving with a point after that performance.

29 Oct 2026 11:36:05
Spot on Wishy, poor performance but didn't lose at a very hard place.

29 Oct 2026 12:17:34
Wishy, you make the valid point about us being a brand new team which I agree with, but I think McInnes has to shoulder responsibility for not reacting to what was happening (or not happening in our case) on the pitch, until far too late.

We were lucky on the night to get a draw, and, thankfully, Celtic also drew, so we dodged a bullet (twice) - sometimes you need these breaks going your way so we'll happily take it.

Wonder what Godfrey must be doing in training if he's not getting picked over Manny. He's needed dropped for months.

29 Oct 2026 12:32:38
Agree Jim didn't cover himself in glory last night for sure. But looking at the bigger picture we are 100% heading in the right direction. For me main thing we need to do now is replace manny with Godfrey.

29 Oct 2026 12:33:24
I have defended Fernandez this season but I thought he was awful last night and I would also question why he was left on the pitch for the last 20 minutes when he was clearly limping. I would also say that Sterling had a shocker so that whole right side was exposed and then he also cost us the 3 points when he couldn't head in a cross from a couple of yards out .Minsu was also terrible but my biggest gripe is Gassama.

I couldn't understand why he was picked and without exaggerating I think his performance in the first half was as bad as I have seen from anyone in a Rangers jersey .Why wasn't he hooked at half time? Bouanani and even Curtis on very late were far more of a threat than him. Getting a draw with these 4 playing that badly maybe isn't a bad result.

I have the fear for the game at the weekend - Killie showed the blueprint for how to play against us.

Hearts changed their system completely to mirror what Killie's done in the second half against, and I actually think it plays right in to Aberdeens hands.

29 Oct 2026 12:39:17
We must adapt in games wishy. If we don't all these dropped points are effectively going to cost us at the end of the season once again.

29 Oct 2026 12:43:16
EHL, we have become too predictable.

29 Oct 2026 13:18:47
EHL we need to stand up and be counted. We can't afford another 9 players to have an off day and not be able to win a duel or control a ball.

29 Oct 2026 13:23:27
EHL, hopefully, DM and the coaching staff must now react to the problem you are highlighting - better late than never eh?

29 Oct 2026 14:00:13
I agree Fourlads, we don't have the experience and leadership on the pitch to adapt in game or to do something simple like foul to disrupt the oppositions flow.

29 Oct 2026 14:05:36
Yes EHL. We need far more from Neil during the game. At HT last night it was crying out for Chucki to replace Gassama to give us more bite and a hold of the Mf.

Fernandez was terrible last night but so was Sterling whom McPake had on toast, he was also bad against Dundee & Penrice was awful & was out of position a lot defensively. Mistake from Min-Su but have to question why a winger needs to come back into the middle of the park to get the ball instead of our midfielders.

McInnes shouldn't of changed the starting line up again & should of changed a 4231 or have someone move to the 10 as Naderi & Kelsy were pretty much mark out of the game against 4 to 6 players at times. We might of lost it last but McInnes has a better already squad, best depth we've had since Walter Smith whilst Hearts is worse than last season in terms of squad, got a lot of injuries, also have a new manager & don't have the motivation of chasing a title.

29 Oct 2026 16:47:33
DJB we get it mate you hate McInnes and want to be proved right.

29 Oct 2026 19:04:02
Wishy, I said this a long time ago, mate, fail so they're proved correct.

29 Oct 2026 19:50:04
100% mate silent when your winning week in week out then knives are out after one game dropped points.

29 Oct 2026 20:46:40
Wishy I've been more than happy to say McInnes got things right & have done (both Celtic games he got it spot on), things needed changed last night & he didn't change it til it was too last. I'm pointing out facts this Hearts team is a different team from last season & got a bunch of injuries.

Where is the daggers for McInnes? I said he has a better squad than last season, we finally have depth (except CB imo) after years of not having it & that was why we got a draw because last seasons team didn't have subs coming on & making a difference like Bouanani & Curtis. You miss the parts where I pointed out Sterling, Fernandez & Penrice were off it yesterday? That was mainly the problem yesterday.

29 Oct 2026 20:52:58
Also I've been busy in real life so that's why I've not been on & if I wanted to be proved right then I would of been on complaining about Dundee but didn't. We've improved & have hit a blip, hopefully next game we fix it & can look forward to a cup final.

29 Oct 2026 21:29:40
Onwards to the cup final mate.
