There's a possibility Casper Widdel will be that 4th cb if we move on Souttar in January.
He's in the papers tomorrow talking about how close he was and it was only a players refusal to move that stopped it.

We don't play with a cam so signing one would be a waste of time and money. McInnes has already said that he plays with two central midfielders and two strikers. He's also said that Drago is out the team because he is working with him as he is not quite ready to play in a midfield two.
We play with quick wingers who will invert but we don't play with a traditional cam. If we are to sign anyone it would be a cb.

I don't think we need better at right back than we already have in the superb, now hopefully injury free dujon Sterling Ajd123🤔 We've a lot of attacking, forward thinking players at our disposal now and there's not a better one on one defending right back in Scottish football than Sterling imo anyway 👌🇬🇧 He's a quality defender 👌.

Mccrorie more than good enough to be a squad player for us, brings a lot more than just on the pitch.
He can play a role just like Broadfoot did.
Casper Widdel would be an excellent signing and as others have said could be secured on a Bosman.

I would agree that we need some more cover at centre back , either a younger player that could play some games or an old head ( Balogun type) . While I also agree that we currently don't play with an attacking midfielder , I do think we lack goals from midfield so having that as an option might be a good idea .
I am interested in the comment about the squad still being a bit big, numbers wise I don't see that .
We can't count the guys out on loan or the likes of Souttar and McCausland who do need to leave , so we pretty much have two for every position except maybe in midfield where we seem to have one too many and striker due to Chermiti's injury. Current first team squad is 24 , and that includes Chermiti, which I wouldn't have thought was too big.

I'd have thought bouonini and yokota at Rw would do for us especially with Curtis performing so well when gave the chance.
Kim and Gassama on the left for me. If he persists with Kim as a 10 then I'd say we need another left winger to compete with Gassama.

I've read a few reports in him mate and not one single but had been good.
I've not seen him so I don't mean to run the guy down that would be unfair but I seen a game his team loat like 5-3 and he was at fault for 4 goals or something like that.

John is spot on. Will be CB and RW. CB clearly wanted by club and 1 short, only blocked by Souttar. Will also be priority if Godrey doesn't work out. RW will be needed for when Bouanani deal ends.
For the first time in a long time our squad looks stable and structured enough that we can go into windows focused on 1 or 2 key additions.
