Not football related guys, but can you remember where you were 25 years ago today?
I was in Munich airport after a long weekend celebrating my 40th. We were one of the last flights that day back to London. We didn't know the full story until we got home. Hellish day.
{Ed078's Note - I woke up in Australia to the headline "USA under attack". I flew back to the UK 5 days later on a flight one quarter full.

Yes Parlane, It certainly doesn't feel like 25 years ago, mate, we were at a wedding in Durham on the Friday, and stayed the long weekend, we stayed just outside Derby at that time, when driving home the news come over the radio, never forget that day.😪

I was going to fit blinds at a students house. The first thing he said to me "come in and sit down and watch this" The disbelief we both had on our faces along with the silence will never be forgotten. Along with the news that other planes had been hijacked.

I remember sitting watching the news in shock as it was my day off. Don't think I'll ever forget the horror of it.
