Miovski has definitely earned a starting place in the team now, and the jersey should be his to lose.
For me, he's the best finisher we currently have fit. Shankland is the other natural goalscorer, and until someone proves otherwise, those two are our most clinical options.
What really stood out to me was how the players surrounded Miovski and continued celebrating with him after the final whistle. Something felt different about it compared with how we've celebrated other winning goals this season.
Big Miovski looks very popular within that squad. To me, that says he should start and maybe, just maybe, we'll finally see more clinical finishing and start putting games to bed earlier.
We put loads of balls into the box last night and created plenty of chances. The game was crying out for a fit Shankland, but Miovski came on and showed that he doesn't need many opportunities to find the net.
He actually reminds me of a certain Nigerian Prince but needs fewer chances 👀😅

Walter, can u enlighten us why three managers choose not to play him? Do u honestly expect any manager to say he has been poor in training?

John, wouldn't expect him to say he had been poor in training, but the manager did say he's been professional throughout and praised his attitude and how popular he is. If that wasn't the case, then I'm not sure those words would go down too well for those who do give 110% every day and still aren't getting game time.
We all know Miovski is the best finisher at the club. On the evidence of last night, it looks as though he's more suited to playing with Naderi than anyone else.

Actually heard from a reliable source who knows a member of staff that Miovski frustrates in training and does not apply himself to all aspects of certain sessions (whatever that means).
