Why did Bojan Miovski put out a public statement about his agent status "Rangers striker Bojan Miovski has released an official statement revealing he is not represented by any agent or football agency." Surely those sorts of messages aren't for the public domain?? What's the point of that?

FIFA rules require players' management arrangements to be registered and transparent, so I suppose that a public announcement does the latter and draws a line in the sand for the end of the relationship. It might be useful if there are disputes re the end of the relationship.
However, it might be letting teams know, as his agent would normally be approaching clubs; or he is looking for a new agent and letting them all know he is free.
First is fact, the second is my conjecture.

A lazy player, 7 goals in 29 league appearances.
Three managers are not wrong.

Thanks, Angus and John. I suspect then a mixture of the two of your replies, Angus. I just hope we don't have a side show with him if he's disgruntled. It would be good to get a settled team and build the bonds. Don't need any lazy folks disrupting that. Hopefully Derek McInnes will root stuff like that out.

Bojan had a move agreed during the window and even passed his medical - however, under advice from his agent, they delayed the deal as there was interest from a club that they felt would offer more money.
This didn't come to fruition and the original club moved on - so suspect he's had a fall out with his team.

Top insight, EHL. Much appreciated. 💙

29 games, 7 goals isn't really a fair reflection, John. Most of them are sub appearances tbf. He's not for me either though, the quicker he finds a club the better imo.

Boy, u say it's not a fair reflection, it certainly is, as that's the facts.
My point is he is not doing enough to get more minutes, but. If that's what makes fans happy, mb they will get fourth this season.

Not a fan of Miovski since he's been here, but if his head is still in the game he could be a useful back up now that Shanklands out. He could be an option as a late sub when defences are tiring.
He is a proven SPL goalscorer, and although he hasn't done it regularly for us, things can change. He's not going anywhere until January at least, so it's up to him to force his way into the plans.

Wsl, I'd play a kid.

So John, going by your logic he's had 3 games this season? 2x 15 mins, 1x 10 mins, it's not even nearly a fair reflection.
Anyone that didn't know better would think your meaning he's had 29 games on the park the full game, when it's not even close to that, so no, it's not a fair reflection. You say it's a fact he's been on the park 29 times, it's also a fact that it works out at something like 43mins per game, 9 of those games being 16 mins and under, 5 of them being 4 mins and under, two of them being 1 minute.
I'm not sticking up for him, if he's a lazy sod he shouldn't be played, but it's only fair to give a true reflection.

Instead of looking at goals per game, look at minutes per goal.
Miovski last season was 186 minutes per goal.
Shankland was 156 minutes per goal with penalties and 192 minutes per goal if you don't include penalties.
Chermiti was 132 minutes per goal.
So Miovski wasn't that bad, especially when you compare him to his xg, which was 6.39xg, so he slightly outperformed that.
Goals per game isn't the full story, which is why xg and minutes per goal is a more accurate way to look at it.

John 2575, you seem to have a real downer on Miovski for some reason. Personally, I would have sold him if possible, but we didn't and he's still here, so why not use him.
As a matter of interest, which kid would you play? I'm not aware of any young striker setting the heather on fire at the moment.

Yeah wsl, he has said as much, he's obviously hearing things about Miovski for him to feel that way, if it's true what he's hearing, then he has every right to feel that way. He's never struck me as a guy that just takes random dislikes to players.
In all honesty, I've had a couple of guys say similar in my group chat about laziness with Bojan, but obviously don't know how true it is, but strange how I'm reading it on here as well now.
