Been on here a few times slagging off Fernandez, but credit where credit is due. He was good yesterday, got us a win. Would like another midfielder in.

He was a bit better, think Makhanya is actually the better of the two. Especially his attitude. Not sure if anyone else seen it - but Makhanya made a mistake in the 1st half and was absolutely raging with himself.
When Manny does that he normally throws his arms up and looks to blame someone.
With Manny though - I think he needs to be a bit more confident in his passing, very often there were passes in front of him (good options) and he opted to go back the way.
I might be wrong but I think we horse shoes the passes a fair bit and it was generally Makhanya that made the forward pass out of the 2. 🤔
Hopeful it's onwards and upwards now for Manny. DM must obviously like him because he's keeping Godfrey out the team.

Different people have different personalities. Just because Manny doesn't make a big show of it, it doesn't mean he's not bothered when he makes a mistake. We need players to talk, so I have no issue with Manny pointing out players not stopping crosses coming in or not making runs for forwards passes. It doesn't mean he's always blaming others for his mistakes.

Manny Fernandes = the new James Tavernier. He doesn't actually have to do anything wrong, but will still get the blame. 😉
He isn't blaming others, he is doing as wsl says and showing frustration when others don't do as he expects. But wonder how he can be disinterested and show this frustration at the same time. 🤷

I think Big Manny has high standards and ultimately that will make everyone around him better. Big Mak is really impressive. Think we've found a diamond there. Good scouting. 👍
