Before we completely write off this window it's worth considering the In's v's the Out's. Now it's just my opinion and early days for a lot of the new guys, bit with the exception of Moore, who was never going to return, on the face of it is our squad really weaker than last year as some say?
Purely my opinion, however those with a tick have the potential to be upgrades on those who have left. Whether that results in a team that can compete for domestic trophies - the jury is out.

Generally in agreement, though I would say that Kosta is an upgrade on Tav at the end of his time.

Nice positive view, Bearsbear, but sorry to dampen it. Most of those players were our backups, so all those signings and we've actually mainly only really improved our bench.

Surely, if we're replacing players who were mainly backups with players who are actually playing regularly and starting games, then that has to be an improvement, especially in terms of squad depth.
On Sunday, 7 of those players Bear mentions started the game, so the new signings are hardly just improving our bench.

Because the majority (not all) we've signed haven't improved our starting XI, so, like I said, we've mainly improved our bench. Just because 7 started doesn't mean the 7 were better than before.
