Lots happening with THEM on sky sports and nothing much about us. So while we wait for news, let's discuss the below. Personally for me, I don't like it one bit.
When players score against former teams and don't celebrate out of respect for their old team.
For me, I think it's hugely disrespectful towards their current club and fans. They are no longer being paid by their former club. I really don't like it at all and don't know why it's a thing. When they were with them, they done their job and repaid the club.

It depends how long he was at the club. When Lampard scored against Chelsea for City, do you expect him to run away like a mad man? And burn his bridges with 15 years' worth of service to Chelsea.

Seen some go over the top scoring against their old clubs as well. If I scored against Rangers, my celebration would be a bit more subdued than against the mhanky mob (yellow card incoming), or maybe, depending on what type of goal, tap in or worldly etc.
Personally, can't be bothered with all this dancing carry on when a fist bump is enough. Main thing is you try your best and score the goal, which I think everyone would do.

Sometimes looks like some players worry more about their celebrations than playing. In the words of Roy Keane, "It's their job!"

I'm not specifically talking about over exuberance, but a celebration. I've even seen some apologising.
I can see how he would burn 15 years' worth of bridges. He can still love Chelsea and be professional for City.
And, as a fan, surely they'd be open minded enough to see that he has a new employer and he's doing his job.
Anyway it's just how I feel. It just seems like people pleasing to me.
Don't hate me, kinda thing.
