Personally I think no European football for a season might be blessing in disguise. We need to worry about the domestic game before we even consider making any sort of impact in Europe. All this Thursday, Sunday games wouldn't help and getting battered on a Thursday night wouldn't help morale either.
So to me this is a silver lining and an opportunity for the club to concentrate 100% on winning some silverware this season.

Worry about our domestic game is what I am doing, mate. Really worried.

Dada, it could be a silver lining with our management getting far more time on the training field, but no European football will hurt us financially.

My star, he didn't want more time on training, giving players time off to be with their family. It's only a good argument if they are teaching them anything on the training ground.

Gees, three games in a week, hardly anytime on the training field, so it could help us in that way.

It's catastrophic for us, the financial loss which equates to the operation of the club and the money we spend, but hey, Rangers dads are getting there trifecta. Derek McInnes "gets it", Shankland "gets it". No European football, focus only on the league.

SamOf Orange, I'm a Rangers dad and I didn't want any of those things (and you can add signing Devlin and McCrorie to that). I wanted an ambitious manager who would sign quality players, now that we have some cash, and get to the Europa League Group Stages at least.
Even as an old dad, I only need to go back to the Stevie G. era to get those things. We actually recruited better when we had limited cash and had to watch every penny. The three windows under the current owners have been disastrous and set us back 5 years.

Wsl Gerrard set us back as well if you look at the big pitcher. I've got sons as well, but I'm not one of these people who believes that you need to "get it" to be here. It's everything wrong with the club imo.

Sam of, that's total bs. Gerrard set us back years? Gerrard built the team that took us to an EL final and left us with countless assets, Bassey, Aribo, Kent, Morelos, Barisic and Kamara, and reigning champions.
Not his fault after he left that Ross Wilson and Beale absolutely squandered all the money we had built up from winning the league and getting to the EL final, and let Kent and Morelos and Barisic leave for F all.
Gerrard actually set us up for sustained success, and we blew it.
Absolutely mental take, and it's only on this website where Gerrard is weirdly hated that I see this. Every fan I meet in real life and on X all understand the job Gerrard done at Rangers and wish we had him right now.

Gerrard was the best thing that happened to this club in the last 15 years.

He's the reason we nearly went under again. We were very close to going away for good due to him. He also lost the easiest treble ever before sneaking off in the middle of the night. He set us back for his own benefit.
