So what happens now regarding transfers? Do we sell to balance books? Do we continue to try and bring in better players? Do we even trust the recruiting team to identify these players? Do we trust dm to coach/manage them? Is it too much of a turnaround personnel wise? Will we gel and become a team? I'm actually lost

I feel exactly the same, Bigslim. Totally lost with this mob just now, from the very top down to the players.

Think we should pause all in-transfers and if we have any offers for current players that meet the club's valuations then sold.
I think the club should sit everyone down who are within the recruiting and have an honest conversation to see where they are going wrong.
We keep hearing rumours of McInnes ain't happy with the level of recruitment, so is everyone pulling in the same direction? Is it poor management from McInnes and his team integrating the new players into the way he wants them to play?

Hopefully, find out some answers in the coming days. Personally, don't think DM knows what he's doing. Nearly every game there are 2 or 3 subs at half time, that tells me something is wrong.
He has no set system, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, and constantly chops between them during a game, and neither seems to be working. Players don't know what they're doing and it's a hard watch.

Players will still come in but the squad size won't need to be as big if only competitions is domestic.
Higher value players may be moved this window that perhaps weren't planning on.
I can see the likes of Raskin, Fernandes, Gassama, Assgaard all moving this window.
It's obvious we can't shift McCausland, Souttar, Nsiala or Cameron where the fees would be minimal at best, so the shortfall has to come from somewhere.
Don't have to think about players to fit the squad for European places now, so I suspect also won't be many Scots left in squad by next week. 10+ players need moved on and still a few need brought in. There isn't enough time to get done what needs to be done.

He doesn't know how he wants them to play, that's the problem, well unless hoofball is a style I guess because that's what we are becoming. A style I was told McInnes doesn't play.

What's our strategy as a club to develop and go forward. Did we not spend time with Brentford when the investors came in to see how they run their club to use as a benchmark for ourselves?
We seem to have continued in the Rangers tradition of trying to buy our way out of situations - bad decisions after bad.
I'd prefer to see short term pain to put in place the structure we need to help us achieve success and stability. At the moment, after two major preseasons of investment, we are actually worse and going backwards.
