Correct. They've ridden their luck so far. That has been coming for a while. You can't give up fifty odd attempts at goal over 2 games and expect to go through. Tonight they got exactly what they deserved, and I must admit, it was extremely satisfying, especially listening to the after match comments. My sides are splitting. 🤣

Seeker, I honestly thought they were going to get away with it again when LASK hit the bar. So many little things go their way at crucial moments. Thankfully their luck ran out tonight.

Put it up on the SPFL page, I said they've had 79 shots against them in the last five games, made a mistake, it's 89, rather have our defence and midfield, rather have Chermiti than anyone they've got, got tired of reading how good they are, especially when I'm looking and seeing a far weaker bench than ours.

Their defence is rotten. The world class signings (according to some of our fans) Baur and Hogh were miles off it. McCowan keeping Hassan on the bench. As my star says, it's shooty in at the goal. They're nowhere near the team some think they are. Oh, and the biscuit tin will now be welded shut.

Kaiser, I just got really fed up reading on this Rangers site how good this Celtic side are, but me looking at our bench and their bench told me a different story, or when checking the stats and seeing them average twenty chances against over the last half a dozen games.

Totally get it, Star, they've absolutely ridden their luck and got away with it in other games. I'm absolutely loving the meltdown today, but at the same time can u honestly say you're confident, Manny, and our def will not blow it the same way against a worse side after what we've seen so far.

Kaiser, if that last night doesn't give our guys a boost for the rest of the season I don't know what will. LASK are a good side, but they're not exactly going to win the CL. They looked faster, fitter and stronger than Celtic with some good players throughout their team. I hope McInnes was studying that game and figures out exactly what he needs from our squad to cause them real problems when we play them.
That was a real eye opener for our fans who were prepared to throw in the towel and write off the season because they thought they were somehow unbeatable. They are far from the unstoppable force most folk thought they were. You just need to look at the stats. Their luck had to run out at some point. And it did, spectacularly, I'm delighted to say!
