I have an old friend who lives in Chicago and watches Chicago Fire. He told me that if we wweren't scouting their centre Half Jack Elliott then they're missing a trick. Seemingly this player, who is 30, has played all his football in the USA, is eligible to play for Scotland but was ignored by Clarke.
He is touching 2m tall, is physically strong and can play out from the back. It also seems his family are big Rangers fans and so is he. I wonder if anyone such as EHL or John has any intel on the guy?

Youth career at Fulham (London born). 351 appearances and 20 goals in the MLS since 2013. 17/18 on loan at Bethelem and wasn't used (2 games). Big lad at 30, 6ft 6.
Other than what I found, know nothing about the lad. Discounting 17/18 seems robust.

I haven't heard of him either, lads. Anyone is worth a look of the talent is there.

Got at least have a look at him, we need defenders and also some depth. Couple injuries and we're in bad shape.

The person who told me about this guy is actually a former president of the Chicago Celtic Supporters Association and once hosted the North American Celtic Convention! But we've known each other for 60 years, and he reckons Elliott could do a great job for us, and, being a bluenose (his father and mother are both Scottish), he'd jump at the chance.
I think his contract could be up in December.
