There was someone spouting nonsense that big manny can't run well I think he proved him wrong last night, big man was up and down the park making bursting runs threw the middle was a much better display from him.

He was also seen grimacing and clutching his hamstring?

I don't think he's fully fit atm.

Wallace, I don't agree with that. Manny was better last night than in previous games and did make a few forward runs, but with little to no effect, he is still a liability and has shown that against St Mirren and last night with an early booking.

He is slow and dilly dallies on the ball far too much. Makanha, the South African boy, looks miles ahead of Manny both defensively and offensively in my opinion.

You don't agree that he can run? He's not being touted for 25-30 million for nothing. Big man is class when he's on it. I bet he ends up in the Premier League in a couple seasons when Leverkusen double their money.

Everyone in the game has said he has all the attributes to be a top player, but have to agree he's not had the best start and he's pulled up holding his groin last 2 games, so maybe carrying a slight injury.

Disappointed we don't seem to be targeting him from corners since we lost our set piece coach as was a handful and score a few.

Of course, Fernandez can run.
The issue is that he has been rank rotten up until last night for whatever reason.

Cmac, he dilly dallies cause the midfielders aren't showing for the ball & he doesn't want to punt it away or is under instructions not to. Same thing happened last season, Raskin stopped dropping back to get the ball.

He was holding his groin at the end of the Hibs game and it's probably still bothering him. Could it be that he's playing through it to help the club and suffering dogs abuse the way others have done that try not to miss games when they are needed. I thought he was much better last night without being great against a physical opponent.

We gave up few, if any, chances and got a clean sheet. His early booking was not an issue, he managed it. The ill discipline of a guy who comes on and after 5 minutes gets sent off for a terrible challenge is a far bigger issue.

For me, it's clear that Manny is carrying an injury. He can still move about and make tackles etc, but appears hesitant to stretch for interceptions and isn't jumping so high. I thought he defended well last night, but their striker seemed to be able to win fouls that didn't go our way. I think McInnes will make us more street wise.
