The Fernandez price / transfer was never going to happen, a few people just get carried away. I would listen to offers for him, but struggling to see us get double figures for him. I thought he improved in the second half, as did most of the team.
Not sure what Chermiti is supposed to do, up top on his own with two wingers wanting to cut inside all day.
Small caveat to that last statement, I did think Yokota looked very comfortable on the ball, and did manage to get a couple of crosses into the box, although not the best balls from the angle he was trying from.

Fernandez is woeful. Been saying this since early last season. Caught out of position all the time, slows the game down as much as he can. Jogs back into position. Cut our losses asap.

I get where you're coming from, Dado, about Chermiti. Still expect more from him though, as quite a few have said he was half arsed at times. Needs to start showing why some ludicrous valuations are being said on here, or will that potential remain unfulfilled.
Has the attributes, let's see if DM can structure the team so he can have the chance to get us the big fee.

Peterpan, at last somebody says exactly what I have been thinking for months.
Fernandez is a major problem for us.
All this nonsense pre season about Dortmund, Arsenal etc watching him and being worth 25million is mind boggling.
If our recruitment had have been better up to now, he wouldn't even be in my starting eleven.
Anyway, let's not get too down about last night. It's only half time in the tie, and I think when we get them back to Ibrox (on a decent playing surface, as that pitch last night was a joke), we will beat them comfortably.

Fernandez slipped, which can happen. However, he took forever to get up. Had he been quicker, he might have stopped the goal.
