The surprise in the team for me seems the lack off fitness and willingness to fight there seems to be some of what we seen last season back.

Derek McInnes will sort any slackers out. Have absolutely no doubt about that. 🤔 That's why I've continually said that Cammy Devlin would always have a place in the Rangers midfield, and others would be a lot better placed and thought of, if they took a leaf out of his book, because what he gives every Rangers player should be giving to ifs, maybees or buts about it.

More worrying is situational positioning and transition and the basics, effort, attitude and desire. Shape fluidity with awareness of your surroundings.
Chuckwani was found wanting, Dio was trying to put out fires, Aasgaard had shutdown/hid.
Chermiti tried but was poor, potential yes, but no service, still expect more regardless.
Yokata done ok, will need more.
McCrorie, Sterling, Manny need to pay attention to all of the above, Rommens gd on front foot, but can be out of position defensively.
Pandur, sorry still not convinced, nice stops, doesn't panic, see how he progresses.
Neil, not shown what he has, jury out so far.
Raskin/Curtis/Devlin should all be first picks for me.
Shankland, is he more for the league? Done ok with the mins he got.
McInnes, needs to work out best 11 and shape and style for me, think we lack a top drawer 6 to drive us on, and a snappy 8/10 for link up/ speed of play, need wingers to be wingers and beat a man, in short chance creation, get that we will score if the fwd's do their job, maybe. 👀

Agree with just about everything u say, Fork. How can we buy 4 CMs since Jan on top of what we had and still end up saying we need a No6?

Devlin can be our number 6. We just need to play to his strengths. We played a 4-3-3 last night. We should be sitting Devlin right in front of the back 4 with the job of shielding them and winning the ball back - He's the best in Scotland at that.
What Devlin needs is two players either side of him who are better on the ball, and he can play a short pass to.
Who will those other two players be? Raskin seems an obvious choice, but it looks like he will be sold. The rest: Chuck, Diomande and Thelo are all very inconsistent and just seem to lack the intensity for this club.

Absolutely, RWC. 👍 Devlin has to start in our midfield and I agree he is the best midfielder of his type in Scottish football. 👌 🇬🇧

Our build up play is so slow, I'm 73 and I could keep up with them. It's fairly obvious when Devlin is not in the team there is less drive in midfield.
