For me Celtic/Rangers will never be able to go far in the champions league as of now, that's why the Celtic board do not chase that dream, spending the cash, Qualifying is the target!
Wining the SPL is the target for both teams, we are at best Europa league teams!
They days are well gone!
The standard of C.L teams and us is growing apart every year.

I completely disagree with you and I'm struggling to see your argument. Kairat, Pafos, Qarabag and Copenhagen all participated in the group stages last year. It's possible for us to do the same with the right manager, players and preparation.

Round of 16 should be a target. Plenty of teams on par with the Old Firm have reached this point. I do agree beyond that would be incredibly difficult and to win it near impossible.

That's nonsense, Rangers and Celtic should be able to do what Brugge do. They also should be able to work together to force change with the SPFL and get us better TV deals. It's a shambles, smaller countries with smaller viewing figures for more money than us. Clowns run our game.
