Personally I don't think that we are in a bad position, okay we want xyz have confidence in the recruitment process keeping it in house, will apologise come 1st September if we don't get the players we want.

Until we sell players and/ or make European football, it's going to be tough. Try to get Raskin and Fernandez out the door. Would free up a fair bit.

Fernandez needs to wake up, smell the coffee and do the hard yards too. A couple of Cruff turns through any match will not boost his stature or enhance his skillset as a real defender. It's cover men, run till you drop, and not flap arms around blaming others prima donna style.
Time to take some responsibility, big guy, and do the basics right. 🤔 Del looked well hacked off at some of his antics, and I would love to have been a fly on the wall at HT. He, like many, needed some Sir Alex hairdryer treatment at full heat level too. Live and learn, Manny.

Totally agree, Blue. If we get a decent offer for Fernandez, we should jump at it. He is twenty five, and still plays like a youngster making inexperienced mistakes. Team looks deficient in decent central defenders, lack of creativity in midfield and short of any width.
Move Raskin, Diomande, and Gassama on. I don't want Cerny back, as he is weak and hides. Could have gone for Harrison from Leeds, but that ship has sailed.
