Thought it was interesting that McInnes mentioned Ashton Scally's injury in the presser today, suggests he may be part of the first team picture this season. Do we think he could be the deputy to Rommens or is it likely we'll sign another left back? Or perhaps another RB and use Sterling as cover? Penrice links have gone a bit quiet and not seen many if any other LB links.

Agreed, blue boy, certainly not my preference but think that may be the plan. I expected us to move him on this summer but can't see it now; can't imagine it's easy finding a buyer for someone with his injury record.

I think McInnes may be close to the Scally family. He will want to do right by them.

YTGer, if most of us Gers fans see him as a crock, most clubs will as well, mate, that's the problem. I'm sick of reading the line, if Sterling was fit he'd be this or that, bottom line is he isn't fit, isn't this or that. Hopefully he's over the worst of his injuries, can't see it though.

Yeah, John, it does always seem the same, that's why we need to change it for the better going forward.
Personally, I'd try gwt Porteous in now with mine as my 2nd choice. I wouldn't be willing to let Souttar go unless I got one of those, or another Scottish association trained cb that I can't think of.
Patterson interests me at rb on loan. Fraser at left back. And McCrorie as 3rd choice gk along with his brother and Kelly gives us 4 Club trained. Means we only need 3 association.
Shanks and A centre back.
Means we're only 1 short this season.
