I'm all for entertainment, I love football, I love music, but last night felt really cringeworthy.
I had no idea, until I saw him do it, that trump was presenting the trophy, but for him to then not leave the stage was absolutely shocking. Couldn't even let Spain have their moment. Utterly embarrassing from a grown man.
Then there was the cup itself being delivered like a Christmas present in a LV case 🤦🏻♀️🫣.
I was increasingly annoyed by all the 'Celeb' spotting too.
There's still this 'Them and us' mentality and that these people are superior to every other human. No one is any more than or less than anybody else and that goes for your Trumps too. We're all equals.
Millions of fans paid ridiculous amounts of money to be there to support their teams and I've heard very little said about them.
It's just all becoming a circus, money, power and prestige and just out of principle I'm not sure if I even had the money, that I'd pay for it. I understand people choose to do it, but it's taking advantage in my eyes.
I feel really strongly about it.

I switched off as soon as the ref blew his whistle. Knew it would be a circus so chose not to watch.

Never even watched Spain getting the trophy. He did enough presenting Chelsea with the Club World Cup for me, it was all about him.

Was embarrassing. Absolutely loved Rooney's comments on it all at half time. Got very awkward because they thought he was joking, but he was not having it. 🤣

Gazza, I watched the darts( thank feck) going from today's comments, but I watch the 30 minutes extra time, judging by comentator spain got there just reward, I had England to win tournie, but was embarrassed by the Argies game against them, dirty cheating barsteward.
