We finally have him. I've wanted him as manager for years. McInnes will be at Rangers for as long as Rangers want him. No sights on anywhere else. Professional and thoroughly decent guy. Can't wait.

Derek McInnes has got to where he's always wanted to get to and will stay with Rangers for probably the rest of his club management career, as long as Rangers want him. ? ?? So, if McInnes is successful, we'll have stability in our manager position at last, because he won't leave Rangers for any other managerial job.

Question is, how long do the fans wait for success? If anyone thinks we will win every game in the near future with all the changes going on, then they are in for a fall.

I have wanted McInnes for years. Again, too often we have opted for managers who have no clue about our league, the demands of our club, the mentality or type of player required. Fantastic appointment.
