What's everyone's views on these hydration breaks?

To me, that's not all it's for.

I'm all for player welfare, but 3 minutes to hydrate seems excessive. Although, I'm not a fitness or recovery guru.

I don't like that the players also get to receive info from the coaches and it feels more like American football.

I'm not a fan.

I'd have a wee go cart take drinks to the centre circle for all players.

There will be a need of the temperature is high; cooling core temperatures and lessening the risk of dehydration later in game. But it is FIFA and is all about the cash being made from advertisers.

Sure, they had one at a game where the roof was closed and the air con was on. ?

They do need to keep it fair, so have it in all the games if you will need it in 1. I'm not a fan, but it's not the end of the world.

Do not like it, just more coin.

Peter Pan, that had to do that though, so it's the same for every game.

Hydration breaks aren't new and used to be implemented under specific temperature thresholds.

I'm really not sure on the logic of that being applied this time around, i.e. that they need to be applied to all games in order to be fair.

No issue with the breaks, but agree it should be done centre circle, no contact with benches, etc. It's really just turning it into a game of 4 halves instead of 2. The changes of momentum after them are shocking.
