What's everyone's views on how to best to develop Finley Curtis?

Do you think he should come back to Rangers as the 1st choice LW/RW?

Does he come back as a squad player with the view to pushing the 1st choice for minutes - featuring is a mixture of substitutions and starts?

Or does he go back on Loan again to a top 6 club or maybe a European club?

Personally, I think we need better as our 1st choice atm. Someone with more experience and a proven record at a higher level - someone with a similar profile to Cerny.

I think for the club it would be best to have him in the building, but that's maybe short term view. Longer term it would be better for his development to play more regularly at a higher level. I seen a thread mention he could go to Belgium, for him personally I think that could be a great move and worked for Ure quite recently.

It's a difficult situation Zikos, whatever is decided I'd like to make sure he's on a contract that ties him to us no matter what, properly developed, he'll be a cracker.

If Curtis performs for Scotland, he ain't no squad player.

It looks like the club wants to loan him out to learn a central position. Our squad depth is poor, so I'd happily keep him as a wide option, but nobody is guaranteed game time without earning it.

Developing him centrally is a job best done away from the harsh pressure and critics at Ibrox. We just need to secure his future with a long-term contract now so we benefit when he returns fully developed.

Angus, I'm not sure about the central role tbh, I think that can come later.

If I see a player he should be looking to emulate, and I know folk will disagree, but I would be trying to model his game on James Forest. I think they have a lot of similar attributes, although slightly different centre of gravity.

Both wide, eager to take folk on, can go down the line or cut inside, and both like to try their luck.

If I was coaching the lad, I would be looking at Forrets game in detail and trying to see what works best and add it to his game.

He's done his loan and deserves a crack in the team now, whether as a starter or in rotation with another winger.
