It would be interesting to see Ferguson's stat from three years ago to make a balanced comparison.

Good point, Hubby. Looks as if LF is years ahead of Barron. We don't have 3 years to develop players and win the SPL. We need to win next year.

Hubby, I had same thought so had a look. Figures from AI as couldn't be bothered calculating them. Main stat though is LF age 27 and 10 months, CB age 23 and 10 months, so Barron has 4 years to get to those figures; although not being an attacking MF, goals may be beyond him.
Ferguson had played 188 games compared to CBs 188.
At age 23, LF had only 6 caps.
LF had won 94 games by that age and Barron 74.
He had scored 44 goals before that time but since June 2023 he has only scored 9, so regressing as a goal scorer.
?
0 trophies by June 23 for Ferguson whilst Barron has actually won a title at League 2 Kelty during a loan spell.
Ferguson hadn't won any awards in Italy by that time. He did win SFWA award for young player in Scotland though.
So stats aren't as far apart at same age and as I say Barron has 4 years to add to all he has achieved so far.
