My goodness is this the state of our club when we think Moore and Curtis are what we need. They're young and talented, I get that, but no where near ready to lead the line.
21 May 2026 15:34:19
Ryan, Moore and Curtis are absolutely what we need imo, obviously along with a good few signings of course. ? ??
21 May 2026 15:57:19
Who do you think we need Ryan?
21 May 2026 16:00:07
I would be over the moon if that was our 2 wingers next season.
21 May 2026 16:51:29
Likewise, Rfc 22. ?
21 May 2026 17:09:25
State of the club with Moore and Curtis, did give me a smile, Ryan, two very talented young footballers.
21 May 2026 17:29:17
A lot of big clubs would love to have both Findlay Curtis and Mikey Moore at their club. My star. ? ??
21 May 2026 17:35:24
I also think we would fall short relying on 2 youngsters. This season and seasons gone by show we need experience and ready to go players that will give good numbers or good performances 9 times out of 10. We need players with quality, leadership and experience. I get MM is good, but he needs to improve many parts of his game.
He's no Cerny, for example, atm, and Curtis may come good but has yet to be tried over a full demanding season as a 1st team starter at Rangers. No risks, we need to win the SPL next season. Rommnes and Cerny quality in every position.
21 May 2026 18:08:31
Agree with Ryan, players like Curtis should be in the squad but not starters. We need better quality and consistency.
Same goes for a lot of our squad, unfortunately.
21 May 2026 18:32:23
We absolutely thought we had quality, Zikos, with Skov Olsen, Antman, Gassama, etc., and to be honest we absolutely would have been better off with Moore and Curtis in our starting 11 together. So, if you're good enough you're old enough, and these 2 young wingers are talented and good enough, and I totally disagree with you and Ryan.
? Not saying for a second that if we had Moore and Curtis in our starting 11 that they would be playing every game, but barring injury I definitely think they should be starting in the majority of our domestic games. ? ??
21 May 2026 18:52:38
Antman, what a major disappointment after a great first game. Gassama- too hot and cold. Skiv Olsen- either did or confidence is shot.
21 May 2026 19:00:57
We will have 2 options on either side, and Curtis and Moore are already very talented and will only improve whether they are 1st choice or impact subs or a mixture of both. I'd be more than happy.
21 May 2026 19:14:21
They are PART of what we need. No one is expecting them to carry the team

This is one of the most bizarre threads I've read on here to date. Clubs in Scotland, England and Italy are all looking at Curtis with envy. He's had his breakthrough season and is about to go to the World Cup.
Moore isn't our player, but he clearly has a lot of potential.
Someone is moaning that both aren't the answer. We must be a fantastic side, blessed with incredible wingers, if these two players are viewed as a negative.
21 May 2026 23:16:08
SWS - respect your opinion. Does Curtis get into the Celtic team ahead of Maeda and a fully fit Jota?
Remember, that's the minimum standard we should be setting.
For me, he doesn't, and probably not even ahead of Tounetki or Yang for that matter.
For me, he either needs to play an understudy role this year or go out on loan for another season - which would probably be best for both us and him.
It allows us to bring in a top quality LW and have Gassama play understudy.
22 May 2026 07:23:14
Zikos, let me be clear here, mate. ? We need to stop this pussyfooting around, being cautious, afraid perhaps of putting young talent who absolutely can make a difference, into our first team. ? For me, Findlay Curtis has the ability and about to turn 20 years old of going into our starting 11 and being superb for us and absolutely can cause damage not only to the so called smaller teams in our league but also to the likes of Celtic, Hearts etc. ? Mikey Moore also done it against Celtic and he's a year younger.
? We've got to get away from this judging young talented players of ours against their players, because that doesn't tell the whole picture if our players are doing the business for us. ? If your good enough you're old enough, Zikos, simple as that for me and I think 100% that both Curtis and Moore are good enough to play in our starting 11. ? How do you or anyone of us know that both Moore and Curtis won't eventually be better than Maeda and Jota ie. have better football careers. ?
22 May 2026 07:50:26
Geeso, why all the arguments, Moore isn't our player and is already away. I doubt we will see him again. Whilst we rightly should be playing our own player first, be careful of placing him on a pedestal that is so high that we all end up with disappointment. He still has a lot to learn.
22 May 2026 08:22:00
SWS, I just think we need better players if we're to get to the top again, and personally I can think of about 5 or 6 LWs in the league that are currently better than Curtis.
That's not a criticism, it's just where he is in his development. Those other 5 or 6 players are more established and performing more consistently.
I get you want to put up an argument for the lad, but the goal is not to simply give young guys a platform to improve.
It's to win titles and that comes when your 11 players in the pitch are at a higher level than the opposition and working together as a team.
So to do that we need to bring in the best quality we can afford.
If by the end of the window we've not managed that then we'll keep Curtis, but we won't be picking up silverware at the end of the season.
Btw, the same goes for Sterling, Souttar, Barron, Aasgaard, Antman, Bajrami etc etc etc.
