We need to be going to hearts, plead with derek to come home, pay the compo and hire the biggest Pickford removal van we can get and get shot of all the junk we have accumulated.

No thanks, you never turn down Rangers no matter how bad they were, that, and he's not won much in Scotland and his football is a terrible watch.
If Rohl is to stay on, his no2 is away, then he needs to get a Scottish/Rangers minded number 2 in place, same as when Graeme Souness came and went and got Walter Smith who knew the Scottish game.

Hoofball McInnes has had 1 decent season in Scotland, may even come up short this season. But shouldn't get a second chance of managing our club.

Shota, that ship has sailed years ago now, my friend. ? Derek McInnes will never be the Rangers manager now. ?
10 May 2026 17:34:56
Sir Walter, why won't he ever be managing Rangers. Also, the ones saying you only get one shot at being manager, does that include Gerrard?

No one can predict the future, if you can, please give me the lottery numbers and tell me the misses will get better looking with age.

He wouldn't last a season, would be gone by February at the latest.
10 May 2026 18:02:55
It would be a yes from me.
We are going backwards under Dr.
This season ending has been a complete shambles.

Let's be honest, look at points total, if it wasn't for Martin & Nancy, Hearts would be nowhere near winning title.
10 May 2026 18:44:51
What if he doesn't win the league, then should we still go and pay compo for a guy who's won a League Cup in 20 years as a manager? He'd be getting hunted the first time we drop points next season too.
10 May 2026 18:54:46
Jasp, that's totally irrelevant. Hearts have been the best team this season and absolutely deserve to be champions, regardless of who's been in opposite dugouts.

Scot11 + Sir Walter, you ever ask yourself why McInnes, one of us and an ex-player, would turn down the opportunity to be our manager? You obviously didn't.
What was on the table, what did Dave King offer, how long was the contract, what was the budget for new players?
No consideration.
Why do you think Walter Smith recommended him for the Rangers manager's job?
