This Rangers mentality is just more made up stuff, unless we are now counting the mentality of players just signed, as we only had Sterling, Butland and Raskin that started that game yesterday.

You personally have been banging on for the last 3 years at least that we had a better team than Celtic, not many, if any, would get in the Rangers team, so if according to you we have a better team, why do they always win the league? Mentality! 2 must win games against them at Ibrox a couple of weeks ago, we got a draw and put out of a semi final, must win game against Motherwell, we get beat, why? Mentality.

Nothing to do with mentality imo. It's quality at times, tactics at other, and experience occasionally.
Think fans put their own mentality issues on the team. I understand why, it's been a tough road recently, but for me mentality is the most overused expression about our team.
It's fine if you want to go down that route, but it overlooks all the actual causes of the tough road imo, which have been numerous and varied.

Honestly, I think there is something wrong there, maybe not enough Rangers fans in or around the squad or something, but fans need to look at themselves for leaving on mass at 2-3 yesterday with maybe ten min to go, with extra time and one goal for 3-3 puts us back above Celtic, yet fans leaving.
It's not right for me. Both need to look at themselves.

Tommy, I totally disagree. For the last 15 years we have had a problem with mentality, apart from when we were down the leagues, as that was just different.
We always seem to get in a position to challenge and then bottle it, that is all to do with mentality. I would go as far as saying it's the definition of it imo.

So why are Rangers able to sign squads of completely different players constantly that all have the wrong mentality, Storm? Is there any point overhauling the squad this summer if we're inevitably going to bring in another group of bottle merchants? I mean, we lost 15 years ago. That somehow has meaning today (despite the fact all those people are gone), and we are doomed to just keep repeating this process.
So what's the answer?
If you want winners, James Tavernier has a league winners medal. But that doesn't matter because he's got the wrong mentality too, right? So it's pointless.

It's an easy out for me, blame mentality.
We have lost because our rivals Celtic have been better than us both on and off the park. Player quality and recruitment has been better as well as stability. We have been way too chaotic as a club and that's what has cost us.
To say it's all mindset or mentality ignores a litany of poor decisions that have been made at all levels of the club.
I am actually upbeat no matter the outcome this season as I feel we are heading in the right direction for the first time in a while. Nowhere near giving up this season but looking forward optimistically.

When we have got back in the league, Tommy, we have bottled it because the players don't have a winners mentality, it's plain as day, you can dress it up whatever way you like, it's true imo and it won't change.

Rohl himself said some time ago that he wanted to sign players with the right mentality to play for Rangers. Easier said than done, of course. For me, we do have a few bottle-merchants.
