Stevie was is the company of a good friend today, very knowable man, mate, still involved in the game, we got talking about Luke Graham, I know you mentioned him last week or the week before, why the subject came up, he said his development only improved massively out on loan and was impressed with him at Falkirk, thinks he'll have a very good career, left footed cb, not a Celtic or Rangers fan, but he said both they clubs should be signing him up.

Beale, cheers mate. Yeah, I'd seen him suggested by someone online, if I remember correctly. I've since seen Barry Ferguson suggested. Someone said we should sign him, as well as another post tonight saying we should look at him to replace Souttar if he doesn't sign, by someone else.
His name is cropping up a bit here and there, albeit not from anyone ITK, as they say.
I really haven't noticed him much at all, mate. I'll need to keep an eye out now.
Think they rejected 1.5m bud for him last few days of window. Can't recall which team, but was Championship. May be Swansea, but I'm not positive atm. Memory's done.

Beale, just to add, mate, if he is as good a prospect as some are suggesting, I'd suggest we sign him and loan him out to League 1 top end or the Championship in England for a season at least, maybe even another after that.
He won't be ready for Rangers, mate, and no point rotting away as 4/5 choice.
We should sign the best prospects in the league and loan them out down south to improve before making them part of our first 18.

I stated on deadline day we showed interest in Graham. We could not get the deal done.
Dundee wanted nearer two million for the lad.

They may want nearer 3m come the summer, John. I am in the company of a lot of Hearts and Hibs fans, and a few of them have said the days of the Old Firm low balling the rest of Scotland are over. It's probably true!
I remember we spent nearly 2m on that boy Eros Grezda, who was completely useless, and Aberdeen selling McCrorie for 2-3m.
Scottish talent isn't cheap anymore. Bowie at Hibs tells its own story.

He looked good when they played us at Ibrox. If we are genuinely looking for a more Scottish base to the team, he's certainly one we should be looking at. Djiga will be going, and I don't see us signing Cornelius, so even if Souttar signs on again, we are still short at centre back.
One experienced centre back and this boy, plus the two we've got, should get us well covered, and with plenty of games for all.
