RE Gasama at 22, according to experts.

"Football wingers typically peak between the ages of 24 and 27, generally earlier than other outfield positions, because they rely heavily on speed, acceleration, and agility, which often begin to decline in their late 20s. While physical prime occurs around 22–25, peak performance in terms of goal contributions often hits around age 26."

Seems we should keep.

Let's hope so. ?

Sometimes its the thing between the ears which makes "wingers", or for that matter any player, stand out from the rest, and if a player doesn't have a football brain then you are on a hiding to nothing. We have seen many "head down flying machines" (Matondo et al), but its the few who look up and have the final product that truly shine.

I hope the boy comes good consistently, but if not, am sure we will make some money and move to the next guy! Clone us another Super Coop please (my hero of yore), a man with brains and talent. ?

Im with Blue-Floyd on this one, what's in his head will make the difference. Does he have a football brain to see what is going on around him?
As yet, need to see it being displayed.

Fair comment, folks. I hope our coaching team can get the best out of him, just do the basic gas, beat your man, and put in a cross where we tell you, or shoot when you see the goal.
