My star, A might a be wrong & apologies if so.A thought the rules are that a 15 year old can play as long as its not on a school day.

You are correct, Kipbear. I believe this was clarified over the past few weeks.

Kipbear, I was thinking he had to be 16, mate. Hopefully we see him tomorrow, then.

You aren't wrong, mate.

I am not sure that is the case, though. You have to be 16 to be registered as a professional player in Scotland, and league games require you to be a registered player, so therefore you cannot play.
Not 100% sure, but the SFA rules in para 4.2 states
A Player who has not attained School Leaving Age shall not be a Professional Player and shall not be registered at the Scottish FA as a Professional Player upon the Registration Form.
He turns 16 on 20 Feb, so dont know what bearing that has. ?

Angus, it's not a league game.

Correct, Storm, but didn't bother about the cup, as Danny Rohl said last cup game he wanted to play him, and he couldn't as he was 15.
The OP was talking about playing in general as a 15 yo, not specifically this game, imo.

We have to give Naderi a start today. The lad was champing at the bit on Wednesday, and we would get more confidence in him for Wednesday if he does well today.
