How many goals have we scored in open play since DR took over? Would like to simplify things and go back to 442.

We arguably played our best domestic football and dominated Dundee playing 442. Its that easy.

6 I believe in his 11 games so far if one counted correctly, doesn't make for great reading but that's on the players imo. Danny needs to get his hands on some of his own players and hopefully we see a change but he will probably be limited in what he can achieve in the january window.

Rohl will be getting around 1 day a week with the team to properly work on any new system and he has a lot to try and unpick from preseason.
Add to that, he's having to now readjust what he was originally trying to implement following the injuries to Souttar and Cornelius.
From that side I do have a lot of sympathy for him.
Where I'm getting a little frustrated is his tinkering with the forward line up constantly.

We have to change the system and go back to basics, whether D. Rohl has the talent to implement something different remains to be seen.
So many teams around Europe play similar systems to us but have better players to implement it.
Hopefully Danny will be given the players in january he wants to implement his style and obviously the time required.

Maybe they should all be working a little longer on the training field then to implement any formation changes, after all they are getting paid a pretty penny.
But then again they would probably spit the dummy out the pram and not play ball for D. Rohl.

if he is going to persist with Chermiti, ehl, then he needs a partner, or someone lime an arfield who is always looking for the knock on and moving quickly,, otherwise he needs to find at least two real proven scorers, Miovski was a total mystery to me, leaves here and doesn't do a thing, and we give him a big deal to come back here, it was madness really, he had just proved he wasn't good enough fir his last club, btw, i said at time Danilo was driven to the airport by his previous club in holland, a complete sand dancer in the mould of Kent and Cantwell,, does much, and very little at same time.

Agreed we could do with a more selected forward line (wingers and strikers), however when given opportunities no one seems to be grasping the jersey. Gassama at least gets some crosses in but Antman looks totally overwhelmed. He either doesn't or can't seem to drop the shoulder and get to the byline (his confidence looks shot), and then the strikers often don't seem to be there when the ball does arrive.
Danilo links well and can be neat but seems to lack that killer touch.
DR doesn't seem to have faith in any one combo which makes me think he will want a major reboot in January.

Ehl, would u not agree though that what's happening is he's simply assessing the different players and their strengths and not tinkering. ?
