We had a very poor first half, but still had some great chances to score. 2nd half with 10 men we were much better and pushed them to extra time, no shame in that, there is not that much between these 2 teams, and we are just at the beginning of Danny's tenure.

If Anothony Ralson Liam Scales, Welsh and Greg Taylor can amass a medal hall, it shows you only need competant defenders. To win leagues you need to have very good midfielders and excellent attackers to get the 3 points on a consitent basis over a season even if the other team score, all about out scoring the opposition at all costs.
Good defence gives you a higher chance of 1 point ie 0-0. If you have unlimited funds you can have it all, we dont, so I would rather we concentrate our funds at the sharp end.

We were needing a defence Strom when Beale got the job and he wasted his budget on Dessers, Dannilo and Lammers.

TJBB we won the league a few years ago and we had a defence that let very little goals in the best teams always have a great defence in our history look it up.

Cyriel Dessers has scored 52 goals for Rangers in 116 appearances across all competitions.
Good value taking into account his transfer fee, and we are currently in dire need of a striker at the moment who is a prolific goalscorer.
Roll on the January transfer window but any money needs to spent wisely.
