No, we sold Dessers as Martin didn't want him.
I also recall many - I'd even go as far as saying the majority - wanted Dessers gone, myself included.
As for binning Chermiti - I'd rather our coaches help support his development and get the absolute best we can out of him, and I hope that we give them more than a handful of games to do so.

EHL how did we not spot Osmand that Celtic got from Fulham? Considering we were shopping in that market how can someone like that not be noticed but we thought Chermiti was the answer?!?!

People need to start supporting Chermiti. He's a big physical unit and can find spaces. Far too much negativity. Am I fan? Not yet but the noise needs to soften and let the boy play.
Dessers ended up winning a lot of fans over despite countless missed chances. Forget the price tag, nothing we can do about that now and let Rohl work with the boy. Stick together!

Someone like osmand? Relax you've seen him play 45 minutes against 10 men, he's not even played a full 90 minutes of senior football.
Big goal for a 19 year old and did well when he came on 70th minute against an open Rangers team, let's not be daft and say Thelwell should have signed him because he buys players in england.
Chermiti was absolutely honking on sunday for sure, Danny Rohl and his staffs job is to improve the players and since he's came in he's scored and got an assist (albeit an assist that was all Danilo's strike) so I hope he keeps improving. We are stuck with him now, throwing a 8m striker to the youth teams isn't going to help.

Our recruitment team spent 6 months identifying players from Scotland, Morocco, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Tunisia, France etc - all under the guidance of Koppen.
However our Head Coach rejected the majority of the players, or preferred alternative options.
I did post a breakdown of the transfers yesterday, but my fingers are too cold to type it all out again.

EHL so would it have been Martin and Thelwell that wanted the guys that we got from England? Would it be a possibility that Rohl has a look at the ones recommended by Koppen or do you think he'll have a big say in the ones HE wants rather than Thelwell choosing for him?
Tav with regard Osmand he had our Centre. Half struggling to deal with him. In 45 mins he showed more hunger and desire than our £8M striker.
