I know we are all hurting guys we share that pain but I would urge caution against short termalist ideals.
We all want success but we cannot sacrifice the long term strategy and plans for a one off short term success.
It was the polarised vision of short term gains that put us on the brink of insolvency again.
I believe the long term strategy put in place by Andrew and the 49rs under the advice of red bull is one that will bring sustainable and sustained success.
Yes Martin was a mistake and fans are right to be angry but the board are now moving to rectify that mistake.
Personally I want the board to stand firm and hold to the strategy over short term appeasement.

With you on this ASA. I do think the next managerial appointment is absolutely critical to get right though.

I hope they have learned from their massive mistake of the Martin appointment and that they take as long as it takes to find his replacement. I couldn't care less if it takes weeks to appoint the correct person. They need to get it right because as things stand the fans have very little faith in them.
The only people who thought Martin was a good idea all wear a club tie and the folk who all wear a club scarf knew he was not, the only people happy with Thelwell also wear a club tie and not a club scarf. Their first two big appointments that they have made and they have got them both very wrong.

Good post. I have stated many times a one of title is not good but understand why fans would take it. We need to build for future where we can win trophy after trophy.

If Red Bull are advising can they not offer up some names from their system. Could Marcus Rose not be back in the running.
What about Rose with Rohl as his assistant with a view to being his successor in year or two?

Good post three cheers. I really worry with good reason as to who the next manager will be with thelwell still involved, the guy gives me the absolute fear, player trading wise and managerial wise.
