Notice most people not wanting Gerrard back for various reasons. But haven't saw anybody suggest who is "THE" man to take charge. Don't think anybody would their mortgage on who would pull us out of the total mess we are in now. I reckon Gerrard would be as good as we could get. He at least knows what us, the fans want and need.

Asa, I known you've been an advocate for Marco Rose for a long time, but we had the opportunity to sign him before RM and for whatever reason it didn't happen so I feel that ship has sailed.

Need to go back to someone who knows the league, would be either Mcinnes or Gerrard for me but due to the way Gerrard leave Mcinnes would be my 1st choice.

Dabab - I don't think we can write off all young coaches just because Martins made a mess of it.
I think Rohl has the character required and is tactically excellent.

At Benfica, he win the League and Manager of the Year in 22/ 23 and the Supercup in 23/ 24 and he had a win percentage of over 70%.
Ass to that -
-PSV, win the cup and the Super Cup
- RB Salzburg, win the league and the cup
- Beijing, win the SuperCup
Add to that he started in the German second level, and collected 3 trophies with 2 clubs at that level.
Martin has win 0 trophies, I would think this would be a considerable upgrade.

Schmidt was one of my first choices before martin and i also like rose but that was before we added all these vrittish based players both of them have very little experience of brittish football or even league were low block park bus tactics used regularly this is why i tend to favour likes of mcinnis wilder dyche brittish guys with decent records.
