No one else think Boyd could have turned down the a contract offer from gers due to the wages, remember Rangers daft Boyd walking away due wanting £20,000/ week and being offered £18,000/ week and when Rangers offered £20,000/ week he still walked away. Remember McCoist said on live television he wanted to sign Boyd so why is it always mccoist who has walked away from these deals? What about everyone who is shouting give youth a chance and now some are shouting Clark ain't good enough sign Boyd what a joke. Clark and Miller leading the line with Daly and McGregor in back 4 with Wallace and mccausland also I woulnd leave black on bench or better still let him go

{Ed039's Note - Boyd was never offered £20k per week)

Christ what have people been smoking? Jon daly CB?
what a joke

2.) 17 Jun 2014 20:56:59
How does anyone know wot Boyd was offered, football clubs are famous for letting the press know of private negotiations, so are agents, depends who agenda it suits, never was offered 20g,
U don't get that wage in Scotland anymore,
We were famous for throwing cash around, look wot happened

{Ed039's Note - He left when the bank where in control, the extra funds couldnt be released)

3.) My point was. Boyd walked away from Rangers when his last contract was up due to demanding £2000/ week more than he was offered so maybe this time he has decided he doesn't want to play for maybe £2000/ week if he is being offered £2, 500 from another team so maybe it is not ally who has walked away from the deal and it could be Boyd who has walked away but what is being reported is Rangers have walked away from signing Boyd. I know people are going to come on and shout he was most likely playing for £1000/ week at killie but we are rangers fans talking about rangers football club and some of these players think they deserve to be paid over the odds to play for our team, it's a joke and I'm glad the wages are coming down the way

4.) Op I think if boyd knocked back a contract offer at rangers the board would have had it all over the news

5.) At the end of the day macoist was neve wher going to sign boyd they never got on the last ime he was there

6.) Wull61 it was the cup games where boyd never got much game time under ally I think that's where the problems started

See someone has posted about Campbell O having a conflict of interest with being on the sfa and needing to vote Dave king when it happens I would like to say what about peter but it won't let me reply, on a news feed on the newsnow rangers pages what a joke for anyone to even say anything like that when their own CEO is in the same position!!

1.) No point even chatting about it. The green tinted specs and hatred of anything associated with our club means the majority of the dhims spew pure bile.

2.) 27 Oct 2013 02:55:13
wheres the conflict of interest with dave and pete. I can see why there's one with dave and the ebt benefactor but keep them blue tinted specks on. do you know there is a conspiracy page for this sort of drival

3.) Last year: "Why didn't the sfa do a fit and proper person check on Craig whyte?" Was the cry and now" how dare the sfa do a fit and proper person check on Dave King!" You can't have it both ways or is it just when it suits you, so that there is always someone else to blame?

4.) @ briggs look m8 the original poster did not say that a fit and proper person check should not be carried out on Dave King all he was pointing out was some clown who can't see there is no difference between Campbell Ogilvie and peter lawell being allowed to vote.

He can't see the possibility that there may and I repeat may be a conflict of interest in the chief executive of one club being allowed to vote on something so important which could change the whole future of his own clubs main rivals. no conspiracy m8 just plain facts. I can see a possible conflict of interest in campbell O being allowed to vote but you ask yourself one question would you celtic fans be happy if any directors from rangers where allowed to vote on major issues that concern celtic.

i would also like to point out Campbell Ogilvie is no longer employed by Rangers but Lawell is still employed by Celtic

If the sfa had done job properly by checking out Whyte there would be no need to check out King but if King passes the test then no doubt it will upset a few. briblue

6.) @4 succinctly put mate. The previous poster will need to think long and hard about how he can spin his reply but you have nailed him good and proper- well done. Off you go back to the east end Briggsie

7.) To number 3 does lennon not blame everybody when things go bad

8.) 27 Oct 2013 16:33:35
@3 I was only pointing out that someone has put about Campbell being within the sfa but no mention of peter lawell being with both sfa and Celtic that's all, I never once made any mention of fit and proper until now, some people! :-)

I'm all for Dave king coming back and providing the financial support we need when we get back to the spfl premiership, for now I feel we have a team which can win both this league and the championship, think we only need another 2-3 players for the premiership.

To my fellow rangers fans thanks for the support, all together we will prosper and come back stronger than ever.

9.) #7 spot on. I really can't wait to see a transcript from when lennon and broonie go to uefa and explain why shouldn't have seen red. HILARIOUS

10.) N2 I don't see any point to your post cause the ebt is perfectly legal as proving in the investigation

4)Players these days look after themselves more also your post is focusing on rangers signings as I said Man U are looking at spending £25m+ at players over the age of 29 years old at least the players Ally is looking at have no transfer fee. Look at big Davie Weir he was what 36/37 when he signed for us didn't hear too much moaning when he done great for us

Some people on here need to decide what they want, some saying Ally looking at all ex rangers players is a bad thing now saying bad move to bring in 30+ year old defenders can I remind everyone that Man United have been looking at paying £25m+ for 29year old midfielders. Ok the quality is better but still they are looking at that age group. He would not be the first 30+ year old defender / player we brought in

I think we should play 3 at back with wide between the back and midfield, 3 in midfield then eithr 2 up top or 1-1
So. Jig, mohsni, faure then Wallace mccausland, with law, McLeod, temps (maybe even black at times) daly and Clark
