That is different. That is a contract with appearance bonuses. Players used to get a 'Pay as you Play' deal in which they effectively didn't have a contract and were paid on a game by game basis. That is no longer a thing is what I meannt.
either way, ramsey is not joining us for a low wage with incentives for playing. In no universe.

I don't think a Pay as you Play deal is even a real thing now so I would file this under nonsense.
