Arsenal fan in peace guys. Just a question about Zelalem, I noticed he hasn't played for a while and want to know if he has been injured or if he just isn't cutting it up there . How would you rate his season? Congratulations on winning promotion. Good to see your club making progress on and off the field this year and playing some decent football.

Number 14, Zelalem was showing plenty promise the first few months he was up here and in the team, but recent last few months, flattered to deceive,

he is a good player and possibly the premiership is better suited to him rather than the frantic Scottish game that can catch out players with lack of experience.

Think he got a bit to go before he ready for the big time with you guys.

All the best but mon the Leicester, what a success story that is lol!

Nothing special at all. He'll grow up to be an average player. lightweight, scared to have a shot, and don't ever ask him to tackle someone. if he beefs up he might stand a chance. It wouldn't surprise me if Arsene gives up on him.

Good for his age number 14, exellent ball retention but needs to work on getting in the box and trying to chip in with a few goals. I think that will come with age. Think he'll turn into a good player.

Number 14

Would be astonished if he made it at Arsenal. When he first came to club I was looking forward to seeing him standout in the league however it just hasn't happened. Far too lightweight and no end product. Lacks a killer pass and poses no real goal threat.

He has been injured the past few weeks, he needs to play at a higher level imo.

Arsenal fan in peace guys. Watched your game today to see how Zelalem is getting on, thought he did OK. How has he been so far this season? Thought you played some nice football at times and think Warbuton has you going in the right direction with a positive football philosophy. Hard to tell how far behind you are compared to the top league but I don't think you are far off . Best of luck for rest of season guys.

Some nice words Number 14,much appreciated my friend, to reiterate what you've said yes I totally agree that our manager mark warburton has got us playing very good football and I believe he's building something very special at rangers from top to bottom, he's a great manager imo and we'll only appreciate how good he is when he's not here as our manager anymore, on zelalem, he's all the makings of a right good player who is very skillful and always finds space, he's doing ok for us but I definitely think he's still a bit slight and needs to bulk up a little.

{Ed039's Note - I think with Zelalam being from Arsenal and playing with this current Rangers side in the Championship is that it suits him being on the ball and playing the attractive side of football, the problem with this and what he is going to/already lack is being able to dig in and and learn the dirty and gritty side of football)

I reckon you'll get a mixed response on that question. He's obviously got a bit of class about him, great touch, good vision and can link up play. For one so young, he's excellent. However, he is young and lacks a bit of bite and sometimes looks for perfection when forward direction looks like the better option. He's a very good player who will be a great one and I'm glad he's staying on another 6 months. Hopefully he'll improve after his stint in one of the finest leagues in global football.

I was at the game today and thought Zelalem did very well. He's obviously a good player and the more physical edge up here will stand him in good stead for when he goes back to Arsenal. Mark Warburton has transformed the club in a short space of time. Every one of his signings have been a success and the team always get the ball down and try to play football instead of route one stuff under the previous regime. I believe that with another couple of decent additions in the summer we will certainly be able to compete in the top flight. Delighted to see the Arsenal also doing well again. I've always had a soft spot for your team and would love to see them win the title this year. Good luck!

Zelalem needs to take a pop at goal more, he has a certain amount of vision but can be to tippy tappy at times. I think the main problem will be in the guy's head, he keeps getting told he's great and will achieve big things, and I think he believes it, I sometimes get the feeling he don't wanna be here?

5.) 11 Jan 2016 06:41:36
He's a very classy player with the proverbial silky touch and his unique turning style on the ball means he always creates space and time for himself. It's easy to forget that he's only 18. I'd like him to add goals to his arsenal. Had to use that. It won't be easy for him to break into the Arsenal midfield, such is the wealth of talent there, but he will and you've got yourself a real gem of a player.

Thank for the replies. I watch a lot of football because I love the sport and I enjoy seeing it played the way it should be, skilfully and with flair. I think that Rangers, under Warburton, and if given a few years, will gain your team a lot of fans outwith Scotland as fans love watching an attractive style of football. It will take time but I'm impressed by what Warbuton has done in a short space of time. I'm also a big believer in youth development and from what I hear Rangers are putting together a good foundation that will show rewards in about 4-5 yrs . The future is looking promising for your club .
