Was at the game and have since watched it again (glutton for punishment)
The result was a sore one to take but the performance wasn't as bad as first thought.
The manager wasn't convinced on the signing of senderros to start with but he still thinks he's better than what we already have as he survived the hook come substitution time, senderros was the best we could get at the time and at the money available.
It was a bit chaos theory in everything that could go wrong did go wrong, Griffiths may have passed a fitness and dembele wouldn't even be playing, we take off a cb to chase the game and two minutes later our other cb gets red carded and we have made our three subs.
Ask yourself and answer honestly did you think rangers deserved to be 2 nil down at halftime and when it was 2-1 who didn't believe we couldn't get back into it?
Our manager twisted instead of sticking and came unstuck but no guts no glory.

That's a fair analysis. However, MW DW have known about our defensive problems for many months. Should've been first on the list during the summer transfer window. But it's only one game. Lick our wounds and carry on.

Garryscott, let me tell you how far RANGERS are behind Celtic. About £10 to £15mill in spending in order to even start a challenge and that's if Celtic stand still. With the current squad 2nd place isn't going to happen. Barton and kranjar are not the answer so that's a pile of money gone on wages and they will be gone end of season. No serious funds are coming from King so at best it's a long road back. Let's see what happens against Hearts and Aberdeen but there is no reason to believe that those games are a walk in the park. Rangers had 2 shots on target today. Celtic had 9. Celtic aren't a great side but better than last season but Rangers have gone the other way. lost all the legs, carrying over the hill players who are now the mainstay of the team. They won't see out the season.

The problem was that it wasn't unexpected and the prime reason was our failure to acquire two centre backs in the summer. The acquisition of Senderos was not the preferred action and clearly we failed to bring in the requisite player with the funds available. But none of this excuses Warburton from continuously persevering with Kiernan.

We did set out to be more defensive again celtic, it wasn't down to us going gung-ho at celtic we sat in and tried to catch them on the break, Warburton can't legislate for continuous bad defending at corners and defenders making bad passes and bad decisions. warbs has Davies weir working with the defenders every day it's just that they aren't taking it in at this rate we would need 6 or 7 centre backs.
