A few years back I'd have called what Shagger done as inexcusable but we're in a place just now where we can't turn down quality and he's always been an excellent keeper.

If he performs and isn't just back to take a wage then I'm happy to welcome him back but just like most new signings I'm excited to see what he does but happy to sit on the fence until we see them perform.

I watched Mcgregor give an interview a few years back about what went on with liquidators, green etc on Goals on Sunday and it changed my attitude toward the players who left.

Some of the lads were top international players being asked to Brechin, etc

Mcgregor spoke very highly of Rangers and his time at the club.

It’s idiots like Whittaker and Naismith I can’t stand. Giving press conferences and interviews. Now I know they were badly advised but I don’t think all the players who left should be shunned.

Bates or Wilson never wanted to stay so why try keep a player that does not want to wear the jersey, we have had better centre halfs in the past and will in the future, let's give the board the benefit of the doubt on this and see what next season brings with the rite manager in place for a full season. Onwards and upwards.

Paper reporting Naismith wants to return, I for one would welcome him back, football is a very short career and the boy was looking after his own.
