Had scouts at a German 3rd division game at the weekend watching Benedict Hollerback. 21 year old ex Bayern and Stuttgart. Told we're just watching at the moment but out of contract in the summer so could move on it.

After you mentioned him i went and read a bit about him, he is only getting praised this season, he's only 21 and looks like he can play in all forward positions, just because it's the German 3rd division that doesn't mean he can't play many very good players can be found in lower levels, if we are scouting him he must be doing something right.

Gers1978 played 28 scored 14 plus has assists this season, he's not played many first team games for anyone, there's is a couple of top flight clubs in Germany looking at him the same with Holland and France and one from Portugal in Porto this boy must have something about him.

If we didn't pull trigger on young German a few years ago in German second tier for first team we ain't pulling trigger on a third tier player for first team.

It's refreshing that the club scouting network is going to the lower leagues, plenty of gems to be found on the cheap. The boy was at Bayern as a youth then signed by Stuttgart. Like many others I'm sure the global C.V. affected his development.

And Mahrez vardy are the exceptions very very long shots
Also Mahrez was french second division which is a rich recruitment ground as players in France move on faster then nearly any other league structure.

Gofor that is my view. Lowland league cap age at start of season 21, this lad 22 in May.
If we really thought he had a future bring him in, straight out on loan however I doubt that.
