I don’t blame the manager for this champions league embarrassment I blame the board as for the last 3 windows they haven’t made the 1st 11 better we have went backwards with an ageing squad and the injury prone players.

I don't think the board will sack gvb but it should be considered, I don't think they will simply because we made some cash in Europe last season, and him getting the team in to the cl made more cash, I feel that is the way they will look at it.

Agreed Storm, granted we have the player improve and sell model that seems to be our target each year. However we have 100% regressed. Hindsight and crystal balls are great but we have made a huge error in not selling our, and I use this term loosely “assets” when stock was high. Kamara signed and we refused the offer…makes you think was Gio told sell if you want but you won’t get the money to spend? Something wrong within the club and a real lack of clarity coming out from the club.

Gio signed his players gio sets team up gio happy to take plaudits for europa final when wee all know it was gerrads team and belief that got them there stormtrooper so I'm afraid blame lies directly at gios door clueless boring football side ways backwards sideways again then lump it aye great to watch the board will be to blame if they don't replace him soon.

Its them all to blame stormtrooper as gio stated he was happy with the recruitment and backing of the board ?Also gio continually chopping and changing as he still can't decide on his top starting 11 ?Make no bones about it, goldson will be a massive loss and even he hasn't had a settled partner which of course affected him and his performances especially at the beginning of the season ?Big goldson is a terrific communicator and a good all round centre half ?.

Seems that nothing's been learnt from celtics mistakes. Strengthen whilst on top. Spend a bit on quality rather than quantity. I honestly don't know where we're going. Angry and sad at the same time.

Storm I get exactly where u r coming from, we’re the squad not better getting to Seville. I said last summer and this summer we need to freshen menu, our defenders and midfield are miles to slow.
All the top teams have pace, we r so so slow.

I love Davis but a 39 year old with no legs is not what we require

Problem I feel is we don’t understand the boards drive to ensure financial stability.

People talk about we have made 49 million on three players. We to date have received less than 40% of that, most off which has been laid back out.
CL money not due to end of coctober.

I always say rangers should only bring in players that are better than those already there. I can’t understand signing bench warmers or in some cases inadequate replacement. Some players do take time to prove themselves but sometimes they never quite make it and there’s been too many in the later bracket for my liking in the last few seasons.

Still shouldn't be losing 7 goals, that's on Gio, don't see the likes of Copenhagen, Meccabi Haifa even Plzn losing like that, aye the board are being tight but that's no excuse for that shambles.

Where I agree tt is he does not know his best team.

A very good post bgate, we should sign better than first 11, and then drop the player being replaced to bench or integrate a kid.

Sir Walter if we critisce gio for CL then at least give him credit for EL. SG couldn't get that group to a euro final were all gutted at the result but at least be fair to the man.

Constantly been changing the team since he arrived. Seems to change personal easily but doesn’t change a system that doesn’t seem to be working. Slow at pressing and slow in the build up.
