Gerrans wants tav and goldson according to tomorrows fish and chip wrappers.

If he could sort us out financially, the way he left us could be swept under the rug.

Ill be heading straight for george sq again if he gives us good money for those 2.

He left us after over 3 years good service. The board couldn't match his ambition I've no problem with him leaving to try and advance his career.

I've no issue with the way Gerrard left.
It happens all the time in football. Naïve to suggest otherwise.
But if he could convince Tav and Goldson to join him in Saudi and we've received decent fees for both he would have my upmost respect again for everything he done for the club.

According to transfer they are valued at 6 and 7 million.

Around 13m for both, (although a little sprinkling of Saudi gold on top would be nice)

I'd certainly take to reinvest into the squad.

For me, i will always remember steven gerrard fondly when he was the rangers manager ? Still believe if our board had backed his ambition to keep in front of celtic, he would have remained as our manager ?Not to mention he would have won us the league again, when postecoglu first became their manager, i've absolutely no doubt about that ?.

That doesn't change the fact he left a week after saying he was happy, settled and focused on the semi final.

Hes proven leaving isn't the best decision. if he stayed he'd have been guaranteed replacing klopp this summer.

There is no way Gerrard staying at Rangers would guarantee him getting the Liverpool job.
Even at Rangers and having just won the title, he was miles away from getting the Liverpool job.

SG won us 55 and stopped their 10, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

If we're having a go at managers who leave us for someone else, then Souness's departure was a lot worse than Gerrard's. Souness chose to leave near the end of the campaign (regardless of how Murray said it was his decision not to let him stay on) when we were fighting for the league, and we were lucky we had the gaffer to step in. For me, that trumps anything you believe SG done.

Gerrard fled like a rat, can't believe people are defending the way he left.

SG helped re-build our club. He couldn't believe the shambles the 'back of the house' was in. He set about remodelling it again to old standards which were very similar to liverpool's.

For that alone he has my eternal gratitude, never mind him stopping 10IAR.

The way he left was a bit sore at the time hut he had plenty of goodwill chips to cash in.

I hold very little regard to gerrard, a man that goes against his word.

It was absolutely no coincidence that gerrard and klopps contracts were due to expire on the same day.

Hes half the man GVB was. GVB wouldve killed and died for the club.

I blame the Rangers Board for Gerrard leaving. He highlighted the quality of the player he wanted signed. We should have been building on a Championship winning team. We didn't.
I still believe that if he had been backed then he would have stayed with us and I also believe that he would heave retained the League Title.
All of the above said, if he gave us a large bag of money for Goldson and Tav, I would be absolutely delighted. Maybe he should convince an Arab Sheik to buy the Club, that would be equally acceptable for me.

Sg left during an int break and didn't say goodbye to. many of the players or staff also but I believe if he'd staid he'd be in the frame for Liverpool job.

Have to disagree with MPH slightly - I wasnt happy with Gerards style of exit. Agree no room for sentiment in business, but always room for respect. Skulking out of Ibrox under the cover of darkness …. No way for a man of his calibre to leave.

Ironically I seem to remember a certain young lad called Patterson left soon after, but his exit tweet showed Gerard how to leave a club with thanks, grace and dignity.
