Interesting comments from Paul Ince about the "Ibrox Boo Boys" where he slates them for booing the team before the final whistle.

Ed, is another Poll relevant?

Q Is it beneficial to the players when the fans boo a performance

Y or N?

i won't be voting on that but i will say you will never in a million years stop football fans being football fans

many will sometimes feel they've been watching some players not putting it all in, rangers fans will always let you know when your not giving what they, and the club give you, like the highest wages in the country, fans want 100% effort, that's all they ask for.

Paul Ince to justify you blindly follow following Beale?.

Booing at half time and full time is justified, booing during the game is not imo.

Am not a boo boy, but us guys that put our hard earned cash into our club season after season are very entitled to let it be known that we aren't happy with what we are seeing. Of course it's not beneficial, how could it be.

Of course it is not beneficial, daft question really. Whether it is justified, or not, is another matter.

of course blue, never actually booed myself, but have certainly shouted my displeasure at more than a few in my many seasons, especially when i watched guys like sebo and o'hallaron abusing our strip, i have no concerns about showing displeasure, think the op has an incurable desperation to be a perfect happy clapping poster boy, nah, if they don't put it all in they will, and should hear all about it,

Just a question since Ince brought it up in his interview - if you think that booing has a benefit to any player and therefore will increase the chances of a win, vote as Yes. If not, vote no.

Tom, as usual, I disagree with you and if you don't want to vote, don't.

The booing can't have been that bad (unless you're DK), because it was a totally different team who came out for the 2nd half and played 100 times better. How do you explain that, DK?

dont recall anyone ever said it was “ beneficial “ ever, that's not why they show dospleasure, not for benefit, but to make sure they hear how unhappy they are with the perfo4mance, nothing to do with benifitting anyone.

in fact i think i would really struggle to think of anyone in my lifetime who never showed they're displeasure, how on earth would you ever think that's not part n parcel of football, even players acknowledge the fans feelings resonate and they react accordingly, hopefully, if we didn't let players know our feelings it would be a totally different, and strange place.

DK is part of the perennially offended on here, who are forever aghast at posters who do not toe the party line.

People aren't understanding the question. It's about booing during the game not half time or full time.

Fans who pay good money are entitled to show their displeasure. it's the fans who keep clubs afloat. football without fans is nothing.

Good posts roofe and TT.

Silly question IMO won’t vote.

DK just you keep happy clapping ? if Beale was still in charge like you wanted how close to Celtic would we be now?

I would like to think it is beneficial - let's them know the fans aren't happy with their performance and gives them something to think about.

I would also say that getting their arses boo'd off should be an inspiration to do better for themselves and us in the 2nd half, you don't applaud failure or bad play, if they could and should have done better.

Paul, I thought Verdant was a Celtic supporter.
